My stay at Arsenal Tavern Hostel was surprisingly pleasant for a hostel. Although the thin mattresses and shared showers left some room for improvement. The friendly staff and daily cleaning made up for a lot, and I appreciated the location's accessibility to transportation and dining options.

Rooms
5.0
The 9-person room was clean, but the mattresses were too thin for comfort. Having a private bathroom was a plus. Our shower temperature gauge was broken, but we found alternative showers nearby.
Service
5.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to change my bunk without any trouble. Their willingness to help made a positive impact on my experience.
Location
5.0
Perfectly located about a 10-minute walk from two underground stations, surrounded by bus stations and lots of affordable eateries. Plus, being so close to the Emirates Stadium was a bonus.
Dining
5.0
The free breakfast was basic but sufficient to kickstart my day. I also enjoyed a 20% discount at the pub next door. Always nice to save a bit while eating.
Facilities
5.0
Clean facilities with daily maintenance. lockers available for a 10-pound deposit. However, the shower facilities could use some cleaning improvements.

My stay at Arsenal Tavern Hostel had its ups and downs. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, changing my booking at the last minute. However, the beds left much to be desired, with a flimsy mattress that made sleeping difficult. The location was excellent, near restaurants and just a short walk from the underground, but the bathrooms could use better maintenance.

Rooms
5.0
The bunks were cramped and the mattresses were uncomfortable, especially on the first night. A lack of soundproofing meant noise lingered from guests moving in and out.
Service
5.0
The staff were genuinely welcoming and eager to help, granting me flexibility with my booking and showing great hospitality.
Location
5.0
Superb location close to local bars, restaurants, and just a quick five-minute walk to the underground. Plus, it's near the Emirates Stadium!
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was affordable at just two pounds, offering decent options nearby although I never got to explore more of the dining scene.
Facilities
5.0
Basic facilities like lockers were available, but the bathrooms were not very clean and left something to be desired in terms of privacy.

My stay at Arsenal Tavern Hostel was decent. the location was great and made it easy to explore nearby bars and restaurants. The accommodation was pretty packed with a small, crowded room and limited space in the bathroom. While the staff were friendly, the cleanliness and comfort left much to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
The bunk beds were small and stacked three high, accommodating 15 people in my room. it felt cramped and crowded, making it hard to turn around. The mattresses were thin and uncomfortable, which didn't help the situation.

The hostel is ideally located. just a short five-minute walk to the underground station and close to the Emirates Stadium. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around, making it convenient.
Dining

Breakfast was included, offering basic options like cornflakes and toast. but I found a great bakery nearby that was much better for a solid meal.
Facilities

The common room downstairs was a nice touch, and I appreciated having free Wi-Fi. but the bathrooms were very small and the cleanliness was an issue.

7.0/10

My stay at Arsenal Tavern Hostel was certainly budget-friendly, especially booking last minute during the Christmas period. However, I wasn't impressed with the overall cleanliness and ambiance. The dorm rooms felt cramped and I found the bathrooms lacking privacy, making my experience less than enjoyable.

Rooms
5.0
The dorms were average but cramped, especially with the bar over the top bunk making it hard to climb in and out. I also found the overall condition a bit worn.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating my need to switch my booking. This was a nice touch that I appreciated.
Location
8.0
The location was quite convenient, just a short walk from the tube station, making it easy to explore London. However, that alone didn't justify my overall stay.
Dining
5.0
While there wasn't a full kitchen, the presence of a microwave was helpful. However, I was a bit disappointed there weren't more dining facilities.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities felt limited, particularly with the showers. While two worked, they lacked proper privacy which was uncomfortable.

5.6/10

My stay at the Arsenal Tavern Hostel had some ups and downs. The location was really nice, tucked away in a quieter neighborhood with some great cafés and easy access to the Arsenal Tube station. On the flip side, the cleanliness wasn't up to par, and the dorms felt stuffy, especially in the hot weather. Overall, it was decent for what I paid, but definitely not without its issues.

Rooms
5.0
The dorms were a bit of a mixed bag. They had some amenities, but honestly, a bit stuffy and gave me allergies. Also, the beds were pretty worn out.
Service
6.0
I found the staff to be friendly, but it felt like they weren't too happy there. Hard to blame them with the state of the place, though.
Location
7.0
I really liked the location. It was a nice, safe area with plenty of cute cafés and a short walk to the tube.
Dining
6.0
There was free breakfast and some decent coffee and tea available. I didn't explore much beyond that, but it was convenient.
Facilities
6.0
The common area had some nice couches and two pool tables, which were cool. WiFi was fast, but I wish it reached the dorms.
